He graduated from Istanbul Technical University Turkish Music State Conservatory Department of Turkish Folk Dances in 1996. In 1999, he graduated with a thesis "Turkey's Foreign Promotion Impact of International Folk Dance Festival", ITU Institute of Social Sciences Turkish Folk Dances from the program. He received a diploma of Proficiency in Arts from ITU Institute of Social Sciences Turkish Folk Music Program with his thesis on ’The features, distribution and analysis of motion structures of Halay dances” in 2005. He worked as a folk dancer and musician in many institutions and organizations. In 2010, he started to work as a faculty member at ITU Turkish Music State Conservatory Department of Turkish Folk Dance. He performed academic and performance studies on Turkish Folk Dances and Rhythms. Some of his published articles are ““The Implementattion Of Modernization During Grandstanding And Nationalization Of The Turkish Folk Dances And The Change Process”, “Appraising traditional rhythmical structures of Turkish Folk Dances Musics as a part of meter and usul concepts”, “Tradition Of Suspending Drum In Performing Of Turkish Folk Dances “Playing To Foot Movement”He worked as an instructor, musician and choreographer at national and international festivals. Important festivals attended by in ITU TMSC "2nd. International Golden Ring Folklore Festival Viladımir – Russia in 2013” , "8. International Moscow Folklore Festival Moscow – Russia in 2013”, “International Youth Dance Festival in Macau in 2018”. He has taken part in many commissions within the university such as ”ITU Social Sciences Institute Traditional Dance Master Program Executive Committee Member“ and the department has served as vice president. He is still working as an academician at ITU Turkish Music State Conservatory Department of Turkish Folk Dances.
